Common project questions

Clear answers before you book.

Start with the questions that matter to your decision. Your accepted quote and written agreement define the work and terms for the actual project.

When will FryAVSI reply?

We reply to quote inquiries by the next business day. Contact hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Eastern. A first reply may clarify the request or arrange the next conversation. It does not mean a completed quote or an onsite visit by the next business day.

Starting the conversation

Do I need to know which equipment or service to request?

No. Describe the problem or outcome, site city and timing. We can identify the useful next step from there. Photos, drawings and equipment details can help when available.

Can you price the work without visiting?

Some defined tasks can be scoped remotely. Unknown routes, intermittent faults or site conditions may require an assessment. Any assessment scope and fee are agreed before booking.

Where does FryAVSI work?

We are based near Navarre and serve Massillon, Canton, Akron and surrounding Northeast Ohio communities. Cleveland, Columbus and more distant projects are considered according to scope, schedule and travel. We work at customer sites by appointment and do not have a public storefront.

Can you help when a network or fiber service is down?

Call 330-575-6134 with the affected service, location and symptoms. Availability and restoration timing depend on the fault, access, equipment and schedule. A website request does not confirm an emergency dispatch.

Scope, equipment and scheduling

What should the quote cover?

Tasks, materials, responsibilities, assumptions, exclusions, pricing and acceptance checks. It should identify applicable travel, specialist testing and payment stages. Ask about unclear items before accepting.

Can you work with our IT provider or equipment?

Yes. Customer-supplied equipment is reviewed for condition, compatibility and installation needs. Your provider can manage configuration while FryAVSI handles defined onsite work, with technical authority and acceptance responsibilities agreed in advance.

Does cable installation always include certification?

No. The quote identifies the test level. Basic wiremap verification is different from qualification and standards-based certification. Specialist testing requires an appropriate resource arranged within the scope.

What happens if the work changes?

We explain the finding and its effect on cost, scope or timing before proceeding with the additional work. The project needs a contact who can authorize changes and service interruptions.

Closeout and ongoing support

What documentation will we receive?

The agreed handoff can include labels, equipment records, photographs, actual test results, configuration notes and open actions. Specify required records and formats during quoting.

Who supports the system afterward?

Support may remain with your internal team or provider, or include separately agreed FryAVSI services. Monitoring, response commitments and warranty or aftercare terms follow the written agreement.

Do you install fire alarms or replace life-safety communicators?

No. Fire-alarm and life-safety alarm installation or communicator replacement are outside the current offering. Access-control and specialty telephone projects must assign related safety and trade responsibilities to appropriately qualified providers.
