Know what every line serves

A telephone bill does not always show what is connected inside the building. We can trace authorized premise-side wiring, identify jacks and cross-connects, and document the endpoints that depend on each service.

• Ordinary business phones and extensions.
• Fax or other specialty devices that need compatibility review.
• Unlabeled 66 or 110 blocks and station wiring.
• Lines affected by a move, renovation or provider change.

Alarm, elevator and emergency-phone lines must be identified and left under the control of their responsible qualified provider. They are not included as ordinary voice replacements.

Choose the transition with the provider

For a business VoIP deployment, we review the network, cabling, power and device locations with your telephone provider or IT team. Number porting, service activation and provider settings need a coordinated schedule.

IP or cellular voice depends on local equipment and power; backup requirements deserve their own plan. The telephone provider should confirm emergency-calling setup and the service location for the new system.

An analog adapter is not a universal replacement for every device that uses a telephone jack. The connected equipment and service provider must confirm suitability.

Finish the move with working calls and records

Agree on inbound and outbound checks, representative extensions and any fax tests relevant to the scope. Keep the old service available until the responsible parties accept the transition and approve cancellation.
