This policy explains what FryAVSI collects through this website and its business relationships, why it is used, who may receive it, and the choices available to you.

Effective and last updated: July 18, 2026

01 / Scope

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to FryAVSI's website, quote and support requests, Learning Center suggestions, and information handled while planning, delivering, documenting, or supporting FryAVSI services. FryAVSI is based in Ohio and serves customers primarily in the United States, with some inquiries and projects involving Canada.

This policy does not control websites, platforms, or services operated by another organization, even when this site links to or embeds them.

02 / Information collected

Information you provide and information created by a visit

Information you provide

  • Contact details such as your name, company or organization, email address, and telephone number.
  • Project details such as the service requested, project location, site conditions, timing, goals, equipment, current problems, photographs, documents, and other information you choose to send.
  • Learning Center suggestions, experience level, preferred content format, and permission to follow up.
  • Customer and project records such as proposals, approvals, schedules, service communications, test results, closeout documentation, invoices, and support history.

Information collected automatically

  • Internet Protocol address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device information, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, and interaction or performance events.
  • Security events such as failed requests, suspicious activity, form-verification results, and access logs used to protect the site and business systems.
  • Cookie and similar identifier data used for essential site functions, security, analytics, and measurement.

FryAVSI does not ask for sensitive personal information through public website forms. Do not submit passwords, financial account numbers, government identifiers, medical information, or other highly sensitive data unless FryAVSI specifically requests it through an appropriate channel for a legitimate project need.

03 / Use

Why FryAVSI uses information

  • Respond to inquiries, prepare estimates, schedule work, and determine the appropriate technician, equipment, or next step.
  • Plan, deliver, test, document, bill for, and support services.
  • Answer Learning Center requests and decide which educational material to develop.
  • Operate, measure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and its content.
  • Detect abuse, prevent fraud, enforce access controls, and investigate security events.
  • Maintain business, warranty, tax, accounting, insurance, dispute, and legal records.
  • Send service-related communications and other communications you request or agree to receive.

Information is not used for a materially different purpose without an appropriate reason and notice or consent when required.

04 / Cookies and analytics

Site operation, security, and measurement

The site uses essential technology for security, form operation, signed-in administration, and remembering privacy choices. Cloudflare Turnstile helps distinguish legitimate form submissions from automated abuse and may process IP address, browser, device, and interaction signals. Cloudflare also may process traffic and security data when providing network and security services.

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are optional. Their scripts and analytics storage remain blocked until a visitor selects Accept analytics. Visitors can manage or withdraw that choice at any time. FryAVSI does not currently use advertising cookies, sell personal information, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Google may receive page, device, browser, IP-derived, cookie, and event information only after analytics consent, according to FryAVSI's configuration and Google's policies.

The choice is stored in the browser as an essential preference and can be changed at any time.

05 / Sharing

When information may be disclosed

FryAVSI does not sell or rent personal information. Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with:

  • Website hosting, email, analytics, security, form, backup, accounting, and other service providers that support FryAVSI operations.
  • Employees, technicians, contractors, suppliers, distributors, or project partners who need relevant information to estimate, schedule, deliver, or support the requested work.
  • Professional advisers, insurers, auditors, or financial institutions for ordinary business and legal needs.
  • Government, law-enforcement, courts, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect people, property, rights, systems, or evidence.
  • A successor or participant in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate handling of the information.

FryAVSI limits project information shared with field and service partners to what is reasonably needed for their role.

06 / Retention

How long information is kept

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose described in this policy. The period depends on the status of an inquiry or project, ongoing support and warranty needs, business and security records, tax and accounting requirements, contracts, disputes, and applicable law.

When information is no longer needed, FryAVSI may delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it until deletion is practical. Backup copies and security records may remain for a limited period as part of normal recovery and protection processes.

07 / Security

Reasonable safeguards for the information entrusted to us

FryAVSI uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the size of the business, the nature of its work, and the sensitivity of the information. Measures include access controls, authentication, encrypted web connections, software maintenance, security monitoring, backups, and limiting access to people with a business need.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a security incident requires notice, FryAVSI will provide notice as required by applicable law.

08 / Choices and rights

Access, correction, deletion, and communication choices

You may ask FryAVSI to:

  • Explain whether FryAVSI holds personal information about you and provide access where required.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete information that is no longer needed, subject to legal, security, accounting, contract, warranty, and dispute-related exceptions.
  • Withdraw consent for an optional use or stop nonessential communications.

FryAVSI may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. A request may be limited or declined when the information cannot be separated from another person's information, must be preserved, is privileged, or is otherwise exempt under applicable law. Browser settings can be used to manage cookies, and unsubscribe instructions will be honored when provided in an optional marketing message.

09 / European visitors

Consent and data-subject rights

For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, nonessential analytics is based on consent. Analytics remains blocked until consent is given, and consent can be withdrawn as easily as it was granted through Cookie Settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.

Where applicable, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may complain to their local data-protection authority. Information may be processed in the United States, where privacy protections may differ.

10 / California visitors

California privacy choices

FryAVSI does not knowingly sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may request access to categories and specific pieces of personal information, correction, deletion, and information about disclosures, subject to applicable thresholds, verification requirements, and legal exceptions. FryAVSI will not discriminate for exercising an applicable privacy right.

A recognized Global Privacy Control signal is honored automatically by disabling optional analytics. The website displays a short confirmation when that browser preference is first detected. Privacy requests may be sent using the contact information below.

11 / Canadian visitors

Cross-border handling and Canadian privacy requests

Information submitted from Canada may be processed and stored in the United States by FryAVSI and its service providers. It may therefore be subject to lawful access under United States law.

Where Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act applies, FryAVSI follows the principles of accountability, identifying purposes, meaningful consent, limited collection, limited use and retention, accuracy, safeguards, openness, individual access, and the ability to challenge compliance. Canadian individuals may request access to or correction of their information and may withdraw consent for optional uses, subject to legal or contractual limits.

12 / Children

This site is not directed to children

FryAVSI's website and services are intended for business decision-makers, property owners, customers, and technical learners, not children under 13. FryAVSI does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information can contact FryAVSI to request review and deletion.

13 / Changes

Policy updates

This policy may be revised when the website, business practices, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated, and material changes will receive additional notice when appropriate.
